Nib meisters John Mottishaw, Mike Masuyama, and Pendleton Brown will attend the San Francisco Pen Show to tweak your fountain pen nibs. Bring your old or new fountain pens that need some work on the nibs and go home feeling like you have new pen.
Susan Wirth will give a talk 50-minute entitled, “Size does Matter! Why some pens can make anyone's writing look good.” Saturday Oct. 15 at 11a.m.
Roger Cromwell will give a talk, Saturday, Oct. 15th, 3-4 PM on pen collecting.
Deborah Basel will teach her calligraphy class 12-2 PM, Saturday Oct. 15th and Sunday Oct. 16th, $20 which includes free calligraphy pen and free one-day admission.
Ward Dunham of Atelier Gargoyle will give a 50-minute seminar.
Ward is a master calligrapher (and fountain pen lover) from
San Francisco. He will demonstrate calligraphy, cut a pen out of bamboo,
show how sealing wax works, and discuss the remarkable instrument known
as the Italic Nib, Sunday October 16th at 2:30–3:30 PM.
